The goal: to be moving passengers by this date
Capgemini Engineering Spain is collaborating with the Hyperloop UPV team to develop a revolutionary ground transport system.
Reinventing travel
Hyperloop is a new way to move people and things at airline speeds for the price of a bus ticket. It’s on-demand, energy-efficient and safe. The system uses electric motors to accelerate and decelerate a levitated pod through a low‑pressure tube. The vehicle will glide silently for miles with no turbulence. Using this state-of-the-art technology, the journey from Paris to Madrid could take no more than 90 minutes.
Accomplishing our mission
Thanks to our partnership agreement with the Hyperloop UPV team, we are providing technological support and R&D expertise to the Hyperloop UPV project, a revolutionary ground transportation system developed by the Technical University of Valencia. Its disruptive “rail-free” design lowers infrastructure costs, while its robust levitation system is extremely energy efficient.
