AERONAUTICS
We performed topology optimization of a thrust reverser fitting & proposed a new design: shifting from an assembly composed of 5 parts to a single part (weight saving of almost 50% with iso-performances compared to the initial part have been achieved.)
We studied & optimized, using CFD and thermal simulations, the time involved and homogeneity of ‘cooking’ composite aircraft wings. The studies have allowed businesses to save more than 10% on the cooking time.

ROLLING STOCK OEM
Our client has placed its trust in Capgemini Engineering to carry out Train Design activities for the Maryland tramway. We successfully delivered the interior design and installation mechanical design with the complete set of assembly drawings necessary for the train manufacturing in compliance with the client’s requirements in a very challenging timeline.
